Portrait of a Learner

Our school is dedicated to fostering a community where every student thrives and learns to become a leader, thinker, and friend who will change the world.

At Slate Hill, we believe in the power of every student to make a positive impact. Our Portrait of a Learner reflects the qualities we nurture in our students:

  • Leader: I take action to make things better and model good choices.
  • Thinker: I am curious, I listen to understand, I learn from my mistakes, I share my ideas, and I ask questions.
  • Friend: I am kind and inclusive, I take care of myself and others, I celebrate the success of others.

Our mission is to empower a community of learners who will change the world.
